Shrek: The Musical at Billings Studio Theatre

Based on the 2001 DreamWorks film Shrek and William Steig’s 1990 book Shrek!. In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get UGLY when an unseemly ogre, (who is a really nice guy) shows up to rescue a feisty princess with an unattractive side. Throw in a donkey (who really is an ASS) who will not shut up, a villain with a SHORT temper, a cookie with an attitude and a slew of other fairytale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a hero.
