Moonwatchers is currently playing at Open Eye Theater through September 22, 2024. Originally part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival in 2022, this production has returned for another run at Open Eye Theater.

This show is a delightful blend of humor and creativity, written by and starring Corey Farrell and Nigel Berkeley. The duo plays two moon janitors tasked with ensuring the moon's proper functioning—making sure the cow jumps over it, a comet passes by, and that it rises and sets on time. But on this particular night, the moon goes missing! What follows is a fun-filled journey through space as the janitors search for the missing moon, learning valuable lessons about themselves and each other along the way.

The script is packed with witty lines, music, and puns, keeping the audience laughing throughout. The imaginative storytelling is enhanced by creative costumes, set pieces, props, and lighting effects that add to the overall fun and charm of the show.

I highly recommend catching Moonwatchers while it’s still running. The show is just under an hour, and you’re sure to enjoy every moment!
