On Tuesday, October 13 the Red Cedar Grill will hold a special event to benefit the Williamston Theatre. During the evening, customers will be treated to the talents of local singer/songwriter Ed Groves as well as a host of acts performed by regular actors on the Williamston Theatre stage. WMMQ's Deb Hart will be the Celebrity Host of the event. The restaurant will donate 20% of all proceeds for the evening to the Williamston Theatre, mid-Michigan's newest professional, not-for-profit, live theatre.
"This event is a unique example of businesses working together during a challenging economic time," said
Emily Sutton-Smith, the Theatre's Development Director. "When the Red Cedar Grill approached me and said that they wanted to do something to support us, I was thrilled. And we came up with what we hope will be a really fun, and yes frivolous, night!"
Reservations can be made by calling the Red Cedar Grill at (517) 655-3766. More information about the restaurant is available online at
www.redcedargrill.com. The restaurant will offer all the regular selections from their diverse menu as well as a special dessert option to honor the Williamston Theatre. Special coupons for the event are available on the Williamston Theatre's website at
