Artist Marvalisa Coley About The Artist

Marvalisa Coley has been an artist all of her life. She discovered her artistic talent in early childhood. She found herself doodling whenever possible creating characters from her imagination. She had a natural ability to draw characters from the pages of her coloring books and pictures from magazines. She now has her own signature style and technique. She's become best known for her colorful abstract shapes bordered in black, primarily created from subconscious ideas. Her earlier use of drawing markers has evolved into an almost exclusive use of acrylic paint.

On September 12, 2003, Marvalisa resigned from her full-time job as a Computer Room Operator with The Home Depot to pursue an art career. More recently
