The South Florida Symphony Orchestra presents a semi-staged concert version of Bernstein's Candide, conducted by award-winning Maestra Sebrina María Alfonso. This production features a dynamic cast of actor-vocalists and a chorus, bringing to life the satirical story inspired by Voltaire's novella. Audiences will follow Candide on his humorous and philosophical journey in pursuit of "the best of all possible worlds," highlighted by Bernstein's iconic music. Performances will take place from January 14 to January 19, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Key West.
