This concert highlights the artistry of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and marks a moment of reflection and celebration for Gustavo Dudamel's tenure as Music & Artistic Director. The program features world premieres of Gabriela Ortiz's Mujer Arena and John Williams's newly composed fanfare Bravo Gustavo!, both LA Phil commissions. Soloists include Boris Allakhverdyan on clarinet, Denis Bouriakov on flute, Thomas Hooten on trumpet, Robert deMaine on cello, and other principal musicians of the orchestra. The program also includes works by Rossini, Mozart, Paganini, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Philip Glass, Caroline Shaw, Nino Rota, and Andres Martin.
