Following the release of her new album My Soft Machine, the publishing of her first book, and her highly praised debut Collapsed in Sunbeams (which received two Grammy nominations, won the BRIT Award for Best New Artist, and received the Hyundai Mercury Prize), Arlo Parks is gracing the stage of Walt Disney Concert Hall. Arlo Parks’ music has been hailed as the voice of her generation. Her ability to conjure up small details that paint entire worlds along with her dedication to sharing the brutal realities and simple joys of her own existence have brought Rolling Stone to define her latest album as “excellent” with Billboard adding, “Fans of Parks’ top-tier songwriting will be delighted to find it has only sharpened.”
