The Lion King will present CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAYS WITH
The Lion King, a festive, family-friendly concert featuring song, dance, music and spoken word celebrating the holidays and inspiration, awareness, that live performance can achieve.
This very special one night only event will be held on Monday, December 2 at the Catalina Bar & Grill 6725 W. Sunset Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90028. Tickets are $35 General Seating and $50 Premium Seating which also includes a post-show reception with the cast. A two drink minimum is additional.
Audience members will enjoy over 12 performances of music for the holiday season, as well as dance, spoken word and comedy. Audience members will also have an opportunity to participate in several auctions featuring restaurant packages, Broadway merchandise, one-of-a-kind props and backstage tours and tickets from
The Lion King.
The evening will also mark the official release of a new cast produced CD, "Celebrating The Holidays with
The Lion King", featuring original arrangements and songs from companies of
The Lion King from across the world celebrating the spirit of the holiday season. All artists donated their time and talents so that all proceeds will benefit AIDS Charities worldwide. The CD will be available as a digital download at iTunes, Amazon.com and for hard copy CD purchase at the concert on December 2.
The "Celebrating The Holidays" performance is produced by
Ben Lipitz, who plays "Pumbaa" in the North American tour, and "Celebrating the Holidays with Lion King" is produced by original Broadway cast member,
Frank Wright II. Songs from the CD will also be sung live by the company at the concert.
The Lion King begins performances at the Hollywood Pantages on November 20, 2013 and plays through January 12, 2014.
