Wig Runner - Two River Theater Company

Two River Theater, a mid-sized professional LORT theater, one hour from New York City, is seeking a wig crew runner for our upcoming production of THREE SISTERS.

The wig runner’s main responsibilities are assisting actors in and out of wigs/facial hair pieces, assisting with any quick changes (both hair and costumes) as needed, and maintaining the styling as designed by the wig designer. Attendance at all run throughs, technical and dress rehearsals, all previews, performances, and strike are necessary.



This position works with the Wardrobe Supervisor and reports to the Costume Shop Supervisor. The Wig Runner will work with the Wardrobe Supervisor in generating run sheets, and choreographing quick changes. We are looking for someone who is familiar and comfortable working with all different hair types and textures. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, collaborative, positive, and is familiar with backstage etiquette.



Two River Theater is a fully COVID-19 vaccinated workplace. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for employment.



Compensation includes weekly pay of $22/hour plus local housing
