The MIS-Adventures of Pinocchio - World Premiere Auditions - Fantasy Theatre Factory

Fantasy Theatre Factory is seeking high-energy, versatile performers for the World Premiere of The MIS-Adventures of Pinocchio! This fast-paced, physical theater production combines Commedia dell’Arte, slapstick, and ensemble storytelling to bring Collodi’s classic tale to life in a highly imaginative and interactive way.

📍 Location: Fantasy Theatre Factory at the Sandrell Rivers Theater, 6103 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, FL 33127



🚫 No virtual auditions will be accepted.



Seeking Performers Who Excel In:

✔ Physical comedy & comedic timing

✔ Multi-character performance

✔ Direct audience interaction

✔ Ensemble-based storytelling & movement

💡 Special skills such as acrobatics, clowning, puppetry, music, or dance are a plus but not required!



What to Prepare:



- 1-Minute Comedic Monologue – Showcase physicality, comedic timing, and character work.

- Cold Reading – Sides may be provided.

- Movement Exercise – A short, improvised sequence demonstrating agility and expressive storytelling.

- Special Skills (Optional) – Clowning, mime, puppetry, or other unique performance skills.

✔ Bring a printed and digital headshot & resume.

✔ Wear comfortable clothing for movement.



📅 Rehearsals: March–April 2025 (20–25 rehearsal days, Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM)

🎭 Performances: May–July 2025 (Touring across Florida)
