Theater - Performing Arts Managing Director opportunity - The Paint Horse

Utah - Full-time position as a Managing Director for stage productions. This position is a salaried employment opportunity, which is based on experience, along with a bonus upon successful completion of each production. We invite you to consider this immediate hire position at your convenience.

This position requires:

 A clear background

 UT DL with insurance

 1-2 years of theatrical experience, including any directing credits or 2-3 theatrical directing credits

 Two professional references

 Ability to work full time on location and at home

 Preferably must live within 50 miles of production location or be able to be onsite as needed

 Must have the leadership and management skills to work with all individuals on the Production crew and actors

 Must be able to provide the management of location of production or assign as needed

 Must be able to hire ALL crew and actors in a timely manner

 Must hire all KEY personnel within a two-week period of beginning production needs

 Must be able to manage budget of production

 This is a permanent opportunity and includes working on all productions in a timely manner for the Utah Market only

 Must work with the Owner/Writer on all decisions pertaining to the productions, including choice of location, hiring of employees and marketing

 This position has the ability to hire an Assistant or to assign any duties as needed to those in the production crew

 This position requires the individual to carry their own insurance for their personal needs; computer, cell phone and any equipment they see needed

 This position will be given all paperwork and instructions for hiring for all employees along with a laptop if needed for onsite use
