Summer Seasonal Staff Positions (Various Available) - The Glimmerglass Festival

The Glimmerglass Festival is now accepting applications for our Summer Seasonal Staff! Seasonal Staff positions include any position supervised by a Department Manager that does not qualify as an Apprentice (Assistant Managers, Artisans, Staff, etc.). These positions typically are filled by individuals who have experience in the professional world and are comfortable working at the pace that a rigorous Repertory Summerstock demands. Positions are available in various Departments including (but not limited to) A/V, Accounting, Artistic, Company Managmeent, Costumes, Costume Crafts, Electrics, Gift Shop, Lighting, Production Admin, Props, Safety, Stage Operations, and Wardrobe! Full Job Descriptions and information about the company are available on our website but positions in general are offered $16.10/hr - $23.80/hr depending on which position, and housing provided for all Seasonal Positions. Contract dates vary by position.



Reminder! We have open Seasonal Department Managers as well! In particular we are accepting applications and looking for a qualified Costume Floor Manager and Hair & Makeup Supervisor.



We will be posting our Seasonal Apprentice Program positions at the beginning of January!



The Glimmerglass Festival is a professional non-profit Opera and Musical Theatre Company located in Cooperstown, NY, that brings live performance to its audiences during its Summer Season.
