About the Stage Manager role:

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana is looking for a Stage Manager for its March/April 2024 national

flamenco dance tour. Rehearsals will take place in Durham, NC starting March 30th, 2024. Light show

prep will begin in early March 2024. Flamenco Vivo’s national touring company consists of 12 people,

including dancers, musicians, a lighting designer, a road manager and a stage manager. The Stage

Manager is an independent contractor of Flamenco Vivo, reporting to the Founder and Artistic Director

of Flamenco Vivo.



What you will be responsible for:

● Mild show prep prior to rehearsal dates;

● Management of Company and production while in rehearsals & tour;

● Proper production documentation;

● Advancing the show and company to each venue according to the Tech Rider;

● Driving vehicles as needed from venue to venue;

● Leading the local crew in proper load in/out;

● Calling the show when required;

● Costume maintenance throughout the tour (ensuring costumes are cleaned and ready for

performances).



Who you are:

● You speak and read Spanish and English;

● You have prior stage management experience;

● You are a proactive problem solver with great organizational skills;

● You communicate clearly and effectively;

● You take initiative, are flexible and propose solutions;

● You have a positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.



Additional requirements for this role:

Valid U.S. driver's license, clean driving record and the ability to drive large rental vehicles including 15

passenger vans and other similarly sized vehicles.



Ability to move or lift up to 30 lbs.



Compensation & Benefits:

$900.00 to $1050.00 - Flat Weekly Fee



Travel, accommodations and a $40.00/day Per Diem provided throughout rehearsal and tour.
