Stage Manager/Lighting Board Operator - Headwall Theatre Company

Headwall theatre is a new company, building a team to help bring us to the next level, especially once we secure funding. We want to expand our family as we grow! Looking to give someone the opportunity to learn from and work with theatre professionals in an off-off Broadway setting.



Name of Play: #CrazyLand (A new play written by Andrew Marvel)

Performance Venue: Astoria Performing Arts Center (44-02 23rd St, Long Island City, NY 11101)

Union Status: NON-UNION

Pay: Stipend of $600

Interviews: Held on a rolling basis during the month of July, the latest top of August. (In person and/or Zoom depending)



First Read Through: Week of September 6th

First Rehearsal: Week of September 6th

REHEARSAL TIMES: 3 times a week beginning in September.

Tech, Dress, and 8-10 Performances: October 10th-October 23rd (MUST BE AVAILABLE THESE EVENINGS)

NOTE: Some REHEARSALS Manhattan and some in QUEENS.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must attend first read through

Must be available for 3-4 rehearsals in Sept. toward the end of the rehearsal process

Must be available evenings: all of tech, dress and show dates (October 10-23rd)

Preferred Qualifications:

Some prior stage management/Lighting board experience (college, community theatre, etc.) a plus.

Queens based is a plus but not required
