FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

INTERNSHIP DATES: 10/8/24 – 11/24/24

COMPENSATION RATE: $16.50 per hour

LOCATION: 170. N Dearborn St., Chicago, IL 60601



POSITION SUMMARY:

The Goodman Theatre seeks a Stage Management Intern to be an essential member of the Stage Management team for A Christmas Carol. The SM Intern will join the Stage Management team beginning with pre-rehearsal preparations through the opening of the show. 



This is a Non-Equity position with a minimum rate of $16.50 per hour.   





RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist Stage Management team with daily preparations for rehearsal 

- Prepare and update paperwork for each show 





QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to prioritize tasks and be very detail oriented, work collaboratively as a team member and maintain a positive attitude 

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel 

- Model behavior and values consistent with Goodman’s Community Agreements and furthering Goodman’s IDEAA (inclusion, diversity, equity, anti-racism and access) goals.
