Position: Raue Center School For The Arts Summer Camp OnStage – Music Director
Hours: Will be coordinated with the Director and Choreographer
Stipend: $2000
Raue Center School For The Arts (RCSA) is excited to continue its summer education camp program and is searching for a highly-organized, dynamic, imaginative, and reliable Music Director for the RCSA Summer Camp Production of Frozen Jr. An ideal candidate should possess outstanding interpersonal abilities, collaborate effectively with young artists, and be a team player. Alongside these fundamental skills and qualities, we need a Music Director candidate with the subsequent skills that would allow for demonstrating the following responsibilities:
Music Director Responsibilities:
Be part of an amazing team that will oversee the camp, and the students enrolled. Providing positive energy, attitude, and help where needed.
Develop and lead rehearsals with students to ensure that they are well-prepared for using tracks to perform as well as being confident for the performances.
Able to work with students ages 7 – 13 and all skill levels.
The Music Director will lead the music rehearsal process for the students to smoothly transition to using tracks.
Teach students the necessary techniques, and performance skills needed to be successful.
Attend and oversee all music rehearsals, ensuring that students are learning and developing their singing skills.
Work collaboratively with the creative team to create and enhance the vision of the team.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills when teaching students the music to the show.
Once students have learned the music to the show, transitioned to tracks, the music director will plan with the creative team to add any review days and specific times to make sure the vocals are continuing to develop and make any necessary fixes to music.
The Music Director should plan to conduct the students during performances (if needed or required).
The Music Director will share in camp activities and exercises in collaboration with the director and choreographer which is separate from the rehearsal process.
All production team members and designers will need to participate in strike, immediately following the final performance (Sunday, July 27th)

Auditions & Callbacks: Week of June 3, 2025 (Days/Time to be finalized by production team)
Camp Dates: June 9th – July 27th, 2025
Camp Days: Monday - Thursday
Camp Drop Off Times: 8:30 AM – 9 AM
Camp Time: 9 AM - 2:15 PM
Camp Pick-up Times: 2:15 – 2:30 PM
Show Dates: July 18, 25 @ 8 PM | July 19, 26 @ 2 PM & 7 PM | July 20, 27 @ 2 PM
