Starlight is seeking sales-oriented “Star” to join our Marketing & Sales team as Marketing Subscription Coordinator! This will be a full-time, salaried position that will work year-round. The Marketing Subscription Coordinator will cultivate growth in Starlight Theatre’s Broadway subscription sales revenue, while adding a layer of exceptional customer service for subscribers. Additional responsibilities include working with the Ticket Services supervisory team, including subscription sales training for staff. This will be a full-time, salaried position that will work year-round. The Marketing Subscription Coordinator will be a self-starter who possesses strong sales, organizational, time management and communication skills. Creative problem-solving skills, strong public-speaking skills, and a proven ability to highlight and sell product benefits and features are critical attributes. Previous experience with ticket office operations, specifically subscriber retention, is a plus, as is the ability to manage multiple projects under deadline constraints. Essential Functions & Duties: • Work with Marketing Department to develop and maintain direct sales plan with potential and existing subscribers; including but not limited to peer-to-peer texting campaign, subscription renewal notices, phone reminders and in-theater and external sales opportunities. • Oversee processes related to order fulfillment including order processing, seat change requests, ticket printing and subscriber ticket packages. • Maintain customer service channels including fielding responses to electronic communications and facilitating acknowledgements for orders received. • Develop and maintain sales and customer service calendar for Broadway and Indoors subscription ticket programs. • Assist the Director of Digital Marketing in developing and running an omnichannel marketing plan to support season ticket renewal and acquisition. • Establish departmental goals for season ticket renewal and acquisition. • Track marketing tactics used to sell Broadway season tickets and analyze affiances. • Assist in part-time staff training as it relates to subscription sales. • Act as main point of contact for subscriber questions, complaints and recommendations. • Participate in annual process of determining subscriber benefits with specific focus on fulfillment of benefits. • Administer a subscriber retention program. • Help coordinate and attend any subscriber events and programs. • Research subscription sales models, analyze success methods and stay at the forefront on industry innovation. • May require some evening and weekend hours. • Assist Marketing Department in other departmental duties as needed. Qualifications • B.F.A., B.A. or B.S. required, preferably in marketing, business or communications-related field • 2+ years of experience in box office operations, customer service and/or sales required • Previous experience with sales tracking software and ticketing systems • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Knowledge of and experience with Tessitura ticketing system is a plus Benefits: Starlight full-time employees receive a competitive total compensation package that begins the first of the month following date of hire.
