JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Marketing Coordinator is to assist the marketing department with development and management of marketing plans for the company’s touring productions. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:



- Develop strategic marketing plans and initiatives for upcoming national tours



- Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media buys.



-Implement marketing plans that include print, radio, television and digital advertising.



- Liaise with regional marketing directors and assist with creation and implementation of their marketing plans for national tour stops.



- Create and schedule organic social media content for the company’s brands.



- Liaise with media as needed for publicity/public relations opportunities.



- Keep up with industry trends and build knowledge by attending workshops and webinars, conducting research, and sharing best practices with teammates





PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- 1-2 years experience in marketing and/or commercial theatre production

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, communications or arts management

- Proficiency with graphic design software such as Canva (Adobe InDesign/Photoshop a plus)

- Proficiency with basic video editing (advanced skills a plus)

- Familiarity with e-mail marketing software (ActiveCampaign a plus)

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills

- Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Desire to work and be flexible in a fun, fast-paced team environment



This is a full-time, remote position at 40 hours per week. New York City based employees work a hybrid week and occasionally meet in-person. Employees are eligible for health, vision and dental insurance, and 401K through the company’s policy.



Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 commensurate with experience.
