Florida Studio Theatre, a LORT D regional theatre in Sarasota, FL seeks a Marketing Associate to join the growing marketing team.
The Marketing Associate supports the administrative functions/operations of the Marketing Department including, but not limited to: creating sales-related eblasts; serving as contributing writer for FST newsletters; supporting annual ad sales campaign; handling social media; tracking digital audience analytics across all platforms; and maintaining front end of floridastudiotheatre.org. Other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organizational sales-related eblasts
1. Responsible for creating, pulling lists for, deploying, and evaluating success for all sales related organizational eblasts
• Serves as contributing writer to regular newsletters
• Supports annual ad sales campaign
• Manages all social media platforms
1. Develops social media plans and content, schedules posts, manages social media paid advertising, tracks analytics, and keeps up-to-date with ever-evolving industry best practices and how other regional theatres are leveraging their own digital platforms
2. Liaises with guest artists to engage them as social media influencers
3. Directly responsible for: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Hootsuite, LinkedIn
• Maintains front end of floridastudiotheatre.org
4. Resizes all show logos for appropriate pages
5. Ensures all information is up-to-date
• Tracks Digital Audience Metrics
6. Regularly tracking and reporting out to Director of Marketing on digital analytics for floridastudiotheatre.org, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and company eblasts
• Backs up the Box Office with ticket sales and phone calls as needed
Required skills:
• Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
• Understanding of social media platforms
• Genuine interest and enthusiasm for new digital apps, platforms, and opportunities
• Technical savvy
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
Experience with Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, or similar email marketing platform a plus. Previous experience working for a theatre or performing arts organization, a plus.

FST operates five stages, the 173 seat Keating Theatre, the 237 seat Gompertz Theatre, the 109 seat Goldstein Cabaret Theatre, the 110 seat John C. Court Cabaret Theatre and the 100 seat Bowne's Lab Theatre.
Salary: $35,000-40,000 with room for growth based on performance
