Ma-Yi Theater Company - Associate Producer - Ma-Yi Theater Company

Award winning Ma-Yi Theater Company seeks experienced Associate Producer to begin its 2021-2022 Season. The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge of non-profit theater in New York City, and have experience in managing Off-Broadway productions. Working with a small team is necessary.



Salary range is $50-$55K with benefits.



· Maintain all calendars/schedules: Production, Marketing, Communication, General Operations, Development

· Submit/Process invoices, expense reports, reimbursements, and contractual fee obligations (Quickbooks)

· Manage contracts and reporting to various unions (AEA, SDC, USA)

· Manage contracts with all outside contractors, vendors

· Assist in Development: Grant preparation, writing, scheduling, reporting

· Coordinate all fundraising events, post show talk backs, opening/closing night galas/gifts

· Schedule and Oversee outside and internal studio rentals

· Build, Maintain, and process all information regarding The Box Office (Ovationtix)

· Work with Press Agent and Staff for all Press, Industry, and internal ticket reservations

· Supervise, train, and manage all volunteers/interns

· Assist with auditions: Schedule appointments, script/side distributions, EPA’s, ECC’s, Call backs, agent communication

· Must have experience with Quickbooks, Zoom, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and calendar management
