CALLBACKS will be held Sunday January 15th from 12-5 PM at 10771 International Dr Orlando Fl in the Rivers Room.



REHEARSALS begin Tuesday January 17th and generally run Mon-Thurs evenings 6:30-10:30 PM. School aged performers will generally be released by 8:30 PM. Rehearsals at 10771 International Dr Orlando Fl in the Rivers Room. Not every actor will be called to every rehearsal and we will honor all conflicts as long as they are stated upfront!

JUDAS - Jesus’ strategic confidante, dedicated, passionate, conflicted, unshakably practical, torn between an aggressive sense of self-preservation and the ideals of Jesus’ religious movement; ROCK SINGER low D to high E; CAN BE PLAYED; 18-50 ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE

PONTIUS PILATE: Roman Governor, calculated, thoughtful, adept at handling pressure, not quick to use the gravity of their power; low A to Bb. low G# to B. CAN BE PLAYED: 25-70+ ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE



CAIAPHAS: High Priest of the Pharisees, at the top of a crumbling system and violently resistant to conceding their place, cold, severe, strategic; low C to middle F. CAN BE PLAYED: 25-70+ ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE

PETER: a loyal follower of Jesus. Innocent and soft-spoken. A spokesman of the twelve. Impulsive and emotional, Peter is best known for denying Jesus when the pressure was on. Even so, as a disciple they were dearly loved by Christ, holding a special place among the twelve. CAN BE PLAYED: 12-75, ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE





KING HEROD: King of Galilee responsible for determining the fate of its Jewish captives, corrupt, condescending, decadent, charming with a sneer; low B to high B. CAN BE PLAYED: 25-70+, ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE



SIMON: As a zealot, Simon has a fanatical and uncompromising pursuit of their religious and political beliefs. A particularly enthusiastic supporter of the anarchist aspect of Jesus’ mission reckless, extreme, ready for an uprising.STRONG SINGER. CAN BE PLAYED: 12-75, ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE



APOSTLES – All vocal ranges. CAN BE PLAYED: 12-75, ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE

JAMES & JOHN: Siblings. Jesus called them ‘the sons of thunder’. Closest to Jesus (along with Peter). Both devoted to Jesus and his teachings. Fiery temperaments.James is enigmatic and a born leader. They are a key figure in the apostles. John is often thought to be Jesus’ favorite. They are the only apostle not to abandon Jesus when the others run away.



ANDREW: The first to follow Jesus. A fisherman who dropped their nets to follow the savior. Their mission is to point people towards Jesus. A modern day publicist.



PHILIP: One of the first to follow Jesus. Reliable. Proactive in calling other followers to join (such as Nathaniel). Strong beliefs. Initially skeptical, they soon became a strong supporter of Jesus. Their faith is strong and they are unshakeable.



MATTHEW: was a dishonest tax man hated by the Jews. They recognize Jesus as someone worth fighting for. They long to be accepted and loved.



THOMAS: Prone to extremes. One minute an ardent follower and the next doubtful. Thomas is practical – they need to see things for they cannot always be confident with blind faith.



JAMES: A keen follower of Jesus. Quieter than some of the others. Thoughtful.



THADDEUS: A sensitive person who displays compassion. Tender-hearted with a tremendous sense of humanity.



ENSEMBLE will play Priests, Soul Girls, Followers of Jesus, Lepers, Cured Lepers, Merchants, Soldiers, Judas’ Tormentors, Reporters & Temple Ladies. All strong singers who will have solo singing lines and many feature moments. All vocal ranges who can move CAN BE PLAYED: 5-75+, ANY GENDER, ETHNICITY or, BODY TYPE

Salary: Non paying but tips will be collected and divided amongst actors
