FOR IMMEDIATE CASTING: Immersive, interactive, multiversal holiday experience JINGLE BEAT is seeking creative, dynamic character performers for all roles, as well as specialized performers (aerial, circus, dance, magic, acrobatics) to bring our worlds to life across 100,000 sq feet of indoor and outdoor holiday adventure!



Nashville Fairgrounds is hosting Sleigh Station 615 this holiday season - Earth Santa 2022's inter-dimensional, multi-sensory bash that gives us all a chance to explore new worlds. He's joined by the Crystal Queen and her fellow explorers of the Crystal Caves; Yule Helios and the solar punk denizens of the Electric Evergreens; and The Artist Currently Known as DJ Cris Crunkle, who keeps the Santaland party going all night long.



This year's experience builds on the success of last year's JINGLE BEAT with interactive worlds. Exploring the intersection of installation experience and immersive theatre, this event disrupts the ordinary holiday light shows to deliver the uniquely extraordinary. And YOU may be that unique extraordinary element we're looking for! The citizens of each world are excited to share and connect with the Earthlings who are visiting them - they engage with interactive installations, share secrets about scavenger hunts, and create the experience of being transported to another realm for the audience. This is far from an amusement park mascot, as the reality of these alternate universes is best expressed through fully-fleshed beings who inhabit them.



CHARACTER PERFORMERS (full duration of the run, various shifts Nov 25 - Dec 31) will work with our Director of Live Performance to develop physical, vocal, and cultural languages for each of the 3 peopled realms - the Crystal Caves, the Electric Evergreens, and Santaland - as well as to develop individual characters that you will feel inspired to inhabit. These performances will deepen and expand over the run, as we explore these worlds and their possibilities along with the audience. Your creativity, ideas, and insight are welcomed in this ongoing collaborative process!



SPECIALIZED PERFORMERS (high volume dates, various shifts Dec 16 - 25) will work with our Director of Live Performance to integrate their specialty into these worlds to enhance the wonder and magic of the experience. If you want to share your skills in aerial performance, circus, dance, magic, acrobatics - or any other skill you want to wow us with - with a massive audience this holiday season, apply now!



Compensation for all performers is $18-22 hourly, dependent on role and to be set when offered. Performers may work anywhere from 8 to 36 hours per week, dependent on their availability and anticipated audience volume. All shifts will be scheduled on Weds-Sun weeks (with the addition of Mon, Dec 19th and Tues, Dec 20th) and given one week in advance. THIS SHOW WILL WORK WITH YOUR SCHEDULE. All shifts Dec 16 - 25th will have a higher volume of performers and those with greater availability on those dates will receive preference. Willingness to be on call for potential day-before or day-of spikes in ticket sales is also a plus.
