General Manager - City of Sarasota

To work closely with the Executive Director and other key personnel of the VWPAH in the overall management and operation of the Hall, and is specifically responsible for budget, accounting functions and payroll. This position is also responsible for overseeing all service contracts, operations, RFPs and RFQs, parking, security, event coordination, emergency procedures, patron relations, coordinate Front of House staff and volunteer ushers as well as supervise the merchandise sales for artists, arrangement for building maintenance and repairs, and for attending foundation, staff, commission and various community meetings at the request of the Executive Director required to represent and/or present for the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.



Physical Requirements

Position requires visual acuity for reviewing, checking, preparing, and maintaining written and computer files. Incumbent is required to have sufficient hearing to accurately perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Manual dexterity to operate standard office, data entry, and word processing equipment is required. Position requires physical activity including walking, stooping, balancing, and climbing to inspect VW physical plant.

Salary: $80,932.80 - $107,244.80 Annually
