Company Management Assistant - Florida Studio Theatre

Florida Studio Theatre, a fast-paced and dynamic professional LORT D regional theatre in Sarasota, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Company Management Assistant.



This position will report directly to FST’s Company Manager, assisting with transportation and hospitality for all guest artists from the point of hiring through departure.



Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Preparing housing, performing artist check outs, and maintaining Artist Travel Calendars

• Providing support for artist needs, such as:

o Complimentary ticket requests

o Overnight guest requests

o Travel stipends

o Grocery and pharmacy visits

• Aiding in the maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles

• Managing and maintaining inventory of housing/hospitality items

• Serving as a contact point between renters/guest artists and the Facilities Department

• Ensuring Company Management inventory is fully stocked, organized, and accessible

• Carrying out administrative responsibilities, such as:

o Mail distribution

o Banking statement balancing

o Processing purchase orders

• Crafting and upkeep of Company Management documents



The ideal candidate has:

• Strong focus and a drive to achieve

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of organization

• Ability to work independently and exercise decision making under some pressure

• Some form of Customer Service or Hospitality experience

• A valid driver’s license



This position involves night and weekend work, as well as being on call two to three nights a week.

Salary range: $32,000-$36,000/yr

FST operates five stages, the 173 seat Keating Theatre, the 237 seat Gompertz Theatre, the 109 seat Goldstein Cabaret Theatre, the 110 seat John C. Court Cabaret Theatre and the 100 seat Bowne's Lab Theatre.


Salary: $32,000-36,000
