The Shubert Organization is America’s oldest professional theatre company and the largest theatre owner on Broadway. TITLE: Box Office Auditor
HOURS: Schedule determined by department needs, likely to include Saturday, Sunday and 3 weekdays. Department’s hours of operation are Monday thru Saturday, 9:30am-5:30pm and Sunday 11am-6:00pm. Must be flexible regarding work schedule (holidays and overtime when required).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Provide internal audits, daily/weekly/monthly, of box office activity (sales and returns).
• Reconcile with STAR ticketing system and Accounting Department
• Complete in person box office monthly audit
• Audit event performance statements daily
• Communicate with internal departments (Accounting, Internal Audit, Client Payment Services, Finance, Facilities, Help Desk, etc.) as well as box offices including non-Shubert clients
• Perform general clerical duties
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Familiarity with box office operations and experience with a computerized ticketing system, STAR, strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment requiring flexibility and prioritization of task
• PC knowledge (Word and Excel)
• Basic math, accounting, and logic skills
• Attentive to details
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and time management skills
• General office experience
