Barrington Stage Company 2023 Musical Theatre Conservatory - Barrington Stage Company

The BSC Musical Theatre Conservatory is an 8 Week Intensive training program for pre-professionals. The 2023 BSC Musical Theatre Conservatory will run from June 5 to July 28, 2023. Candidates must demonstrate strong musical theatre skills, be at least 19 years of age, and have completed at least one year of University-level training. Come grow with us in 2023!



Program

Our main goal is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment and a curriculum that is directly relevant to becoming a working artist. The MTC curriculum is based on a series of professional classes, workshops and intensives taught by associate artists, company creatives and guests of Barrington Stage Company. This is the backbone of your MTC experience. You will fill your toolbox with technique and method, challenge yourself, increase your stamina, skills, and flexibility as an artist.Conservatory students participate in a variety of performances, providing an opportunity to directly apply the skills you hone here. From cabarets, to showcases, special events, and staged readings- we are always looking for more opportunities for the cohort to shine. How to apply:

Prospective students can expect to prepare audition packages, a personal statement, and a letter of recommendation.



There is limited space available. Participants are selected

through a highly competitive application process and are encouraged to apply early. Students being strongly considered will be scheduled for interviews. Offers will go out by March 1, 2023.
