Meadow Brook Theatre Celebrates Its Production of THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW By Co-Sponsoring New Halloween Haunts

Meadow Brook Theatre is pleased to celebrate its production of the world premiere adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Jefferson Garrett, with the co-sponsorship of two community events in downtown Rochester, Michigan.

The first event is a Zombie Walk co-sponsored with Flint’s top rated haunted house, St. Lucifer’s Asylum.  This event will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 6:00pm. The walk begins at University and Main Street in downtown Rochester and ends at the Rochester Mills Beer Company. The Rochester Mills will be running a half off appetizer special for all walkers dressed in costume, and Meadow Brook Theatre will be giving away free tickets. The event is free of charge.

In the month of October, Meadow Brook Theatre will be co-sponsoring the Rochester Area Jaycees Tunnel of Terror haunted house. The event runs Friday and Saturday evenings in October from 7:30- 10:30 PM. The Tunnel of Terror is located in the Rochester Municipal Park parking lot on Pine Street in downtown Rochester. The price for tickets is $10 per person, and there will be one Children’s Friendly Monster Day, Saturday October 17, 2009 from noon to 4:00PM. The pricing for Children’s Day is $2 or two non-perishable food items per child.
