Join us in ensuring that your Center for Performing Arts will continue to thrive as the premier cultural destination in the Southland, bringing quality and diverse cultural and arts in educational programming to over 50,000 community members. The Center's General Operating fund supports all the efforts of the Center: music, theater, dance, national touring productions, community theater, venue maintenance & more! The Burt Dikelsky Access to the Arts Fund expands arts access to students and families in the Chicago Southland by overcoming informational, transportation, social and economic barriers. Including funding for summer camp scholarships. The Ralph Medhurst Arts in Education Fund gives the gift of live theater to underserved youth who may never have had access to the arts. This ties into school curriculum standards and allows for show tickets, teacher study guides & books to be provided at a cost of $10 per student! Inspired by one of the Center’s original board members and opera aficionado, Inge Marra, the fund ensures the continuation of classical vocal music, including our Opera Up Close series, as well as art songs, operetta, and classical musical theater. Ensures the continuation of showcasing operatic talent from Chicagoland and beyond! The Children's Mainstage Tickets Fund allows your Center to better serve families by keeping children's ticket prices affordable and consistent across our season regardless of cost of the seat.
The Center’s vision is to bring together diverse artists and audiences to create experiences and memories that activate compassion and transform the world. With free parking, a convenient location accessible to major highways and presentations ranging from opera to family programs, our venue has served as a vibrant cultural destination in the southland community since 1995.
