Loosely based on Puccini’s La Bohème, RENT follows an unforgettable year in the lives of seven artists struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. With its inspiring message of joy and hope in the face of fear, this timeless celebration of friendship and creativity reminds us to measure our lives with the only thing that truly matters—love.

A musical about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today, RENT is onstage August 2nd-11th, 2024 with matinee & evening performances.

Bradyn Parmelly

Mark
Bradyn Parmelly is so delighted to play Mark in this production of Rent. With a 17-year-long theatre career, Bradyn has done over forty shows in his theatre career. Some of Bradyn’s theatre appearances include the parts of Pippin in Pippin, Danny Zuko in Grease, Ren McCormack in Footloose, Jamie Wellerstein in The Last Five Years, Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie, Greg in A Chorus Line, The Baker in Into The Woods and most recently, Whizzer in The Belle's production of Falsettos. Bradyn would like to thank his family and friends for their never-ending support.


Ryan Craig

Roger
Ryan is excited to return to the Belle for RENT! He has his Masters in Vocal Performance from Frost School of Music at UM and he loves performing wherever and however he can because he loves the people and the process! Ryan has performed in SWFL for the last two years since moving here in 2022. He most recently appeared as Bouc in Murder on the Orient Express, Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf in Into the Woods, and Curtis in Sister Act at Cultural Park Theater. At the Belle, Ryan has been Tin Man/Hickory in Wizard of Oz, Todd the Scottish assassin in Unnecessary Farce, Father Chenille in Drinking Habits, and Audrey II (voice) in Little Shop of Horrors. Other notable roles include Wolf/Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods, Jekyll and Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde the Musical, and King Basilius in Head Over Heels at New Phoenix Theater. Ryan has also been a featured performer in the original production of Snowbird Follies and as a backup singer in Gulf Coast Symphony Rocks! both with the Gulf Coast Symphony.

Joey Bostic is ecstatic to make his debut with The Belle Theatre! His favorite credits include Frank-N-Furter three different times in Rocky Horror, Jacob in La Cage Aux Folles, as well as having performed in Rent twice before with Fort Myers Theatre! He’d like to thank his amazing boyfriend, Parker, for all of his support!

Cassie started on stage at the age of 5, has appeared in nearly 100 shows and is thrilled to be playing Joanne! Notable roles include: Deloris in “Sister Act”, The Witch in “Into the Woods”, Sleeping Beauty in “Disenchanted”, Sister Robert Anne in “Nunsense” and “Nunsense 2”, Judy in “Which Way to the Stage”, Sister Mary Catherine in “Drinking Habits”, Little Red in “Into the Woods”, Mrs. Hubbard in “Murder on the Orient Express”, Leeann in “A Piece of my Heart”, Ronnette in “Little Shop of Horrors”, and many more! Cassie also has extensive training in the technical world of theatre, has a concentrated training in method acting, is a former member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, and has classical vocal training. Outside of the theater world, Cassie has worked in the field of dentistry for over 20 years, currently working Revenue Cycle Management for a large dental corporation. In her free time, Cassie loves spending time with her 2 children, her puppy, and her boyfriend Ryan Craig.

Nicole Anderson is excited for her 1st show with The Belle Theatre! After a 25 year hiatus, her recent credits include: Emily Hobbs in Elf the Musical, Alma Hicks in Music Man, Evil Queen in Descendants The Musical, and Nurse Ancestor in Addams Family, all with Fort Myers Theatre.


Jonathan Castillo-Malave

Jonathan is a graduate of Ida S. Baker High School, and is excited to be given the opportunity to perform as ensemble for Rent! His most recent performance was as Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. He wishes to expand his knowledge in the theatrical world!


Jerri-Lynne Clayton

Jerri-Lynne is thrilled to be back at The Belle Theatre with this amazing cast and is bringing over 3 decades of theatrical experience with her! Aside from directing and teaching theater in our public schools, some of her most recent performance credits include step-sister Charlotte in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty in Into The Woods, Sister Mary Lazarus in Sister Act, and Hot Blades Harry in Urinetown. She wants to thank her family for always being there for her, and she can't wait to complete another performance adventure with this fantastic team!

Beckie is excited to join The Belle Theatre as part of the ensemble in Rent. Beckie has been in SWFL for the past 3 years, previously performing with a small theater in NY. Credits include: Legally Blonde, Shrek, Heathers, Jekyll and Hyde, and Harry’s Hotter at Twilight.


Makayla Hunter

Makayla is so excited to be performing in the ensemble cast of RENT as this is her first performance at The Belle Theatre! She is currently studying theatre at New College of Florida and she has been performing for quite a few years now. She wants to thank her friends, family and educators for their continuous support!


Piper Jones

Piper is excited to be joining The Belle Theatre as part of the ensemble cast of RENT! Piper has been a dancer for 23 years and moved to SWFL from Michigan in 2021. This is her first musical theatre performance and she looks forward to more in the future.

Livia is a senior at Bishop Verot High School, with a passion for performing on stage. She's excited to make her community theater debut in the ensemble of “Rent!” Her prior onstage credits include Mary Poppins and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, both at Verot. Livia would like to thank her mom for all the support she has given her throughout the years and for being her biggest fan, and her theater teacher Mrs. Clark for the chance to perform at Verot and being the most kind hearted person she has ever known.

Ariana Milian is thrilled to make her Belle debut in RENT! She has been performing her whole life and is always happy to be on stage. She most recently appeared as Allison in Men are Dogs at Fort Myers Theatre. Other credits include work in the ensemble of The Drowsy Chaperone, Mrs. Gloop in Willy Wonka, Sister Sophia in the Sound of Music, a Phantom in the Rocky Horror Show, and in the ensemble of RENT, all at Fort Myers Theatre. Thank you to Tyler and the creative team at The Belle and her performance is dedicated to her family.

Justin is a recent graduate from Charlotte High School. He will be attending FAU this fall as a theatre major. Previous roles include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Ram Sweeney in Heathers the Musical and Lefou/Maurice in Beauty and the Beast.

Jessica Turner is excited to be in her first show at the Belle with her great friend Nicole and her daughter Cat. Her recent credits include Drowsy in The Drowsy Chaperone and Deb in Elf.


Stacey Vitacco

This is Stacey's second appearance at The Belle Theatre and is excited to be a part of the cast of Rent. She has extensive dance training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and modern. Stacey has been in SWFL for 8 years and has performed in many shows at Cultural Park Theater.

Erin has been involved in local theater productions since 2016. Notable roles include: Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Officer Lockstock in Urinetown, Sister Mary Martin-of-Tours in Sister Act, Norleen Sprunt in Mama Won’t Fly and Granny/The Giant/Cinderella’s Mother in Into the Woods.
