Please prepare up to two short song selections no more than one verse/one chorus each. A pianist will be provided. Also, please bring a physical headshot and resume stapled together.

Violet Newstead: Female. Any ethnicity. Alto. 40s – 50s. The company's Head Secretary and Mr. Hart's Administrative Assistant, she is a single mother and typically stands up for what she believes in. Attractive, strong, ambitious.
Doralee Rhodes: Female. Any ethnicity. Strong country mezzo-soprano w/high belt. 20s – 30s. A young, sexy country girl who works at Mr. Hart's office. Although she is misunderstood at the beginning of the show, she is ever warm and friendly. Smart comedy. American country accent.
Judy Bernly: Female. Any ethnicity. Soprano w/high belt. 30s – 40s. The new girl at the firm, she has been burned by her husband's affair and is searching for personal empowerment. Insecure, determined, and hopeful.
Franklin Hart: Male. Any ethnicity. Bass/Baritone. 40s – 60s. One of the firm's executives and a notorious chauvinist. He is capable of faking charm but usually shows his true colors as an arrogant, self-absorbed boss.
Roz Keith: Female. Any ethnicity. Alto. 40s – 50s. The attentive office gossip queen and snitch. She has an unrequited love for Mr. Hart and will do anything she can to win his approval. Strong comedian.
Ensemble: Male and Female. Any and all ethnicities. 20s – 60s. Seeking high-energy singers and dancers to play characters like Violet’s teenage son Joe, Franklin Hart’s wife Missy, the Chairman of the Board Tinsworthy, various other named featured ensemble characters, office employees, secretaries, police officers, and hospital employees.
