NHAN/KHUE/ASIAN GUY/AMERICAN GUY
Male, 20s, Asian. Plays multiple parts, including an American Guy, Nhan (Quang's best friend and travel companion), and Khue (Tong's brother). Someone naive. Good comedic energy. This is a play with music – we are looking for actors who can sing and be comfortable carrying a tune. It is not necessary to have giant voices.
STORYLINE:
In this high-octane comedy, Nguyen recreates (and kinda makes up) his parents’ reluctant courtship: Fresh from Saigon, they meet in an Arkansas refugee relocation camp in 1975.?With pop culture, a live band, and plenty of funk-rock-punk-n-roll, Vietgone?follows these new Americans through a bewildering land. A story full of lust and heartache, cowboys and motorcycles from a screenwriter for Marvel Studios.
