Breakdown
Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Disney's When You Wish and SISTER ACT play in repertory June through October. Actors being considered for the three amphitheater productions will be cast in all three. Tuacahn is an outdoor amphitheater located in southwestern Utah (110 miles from Las Vegas).
Beauty and the Beast and When You Wish: first rehearsal April 13; opening June 12th (Beauty) June 13th (When You Wish); SISTER ACT: first rehearsal June 29th; opening August 7th ; All three productions will close the week of Oct 17th with possible extension through Oct 22nd
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST BREAKDOWN
BABETTE- A saucy, enchanted feather-duster, and the object of Lumiere's affections. She is the playful, gorgeous, seductive French maid.

BEAST- A Prince transformed into a terrifying beast for his lack of compassion. He is hot-tempered and commanding, but has a warm, loving heart buried far beneath his gruff exterior.

BELLE- A vibrant, intelligent girl with beauty, who wants more out of the life than an ordinary existence. She is optimistic, fun-loving, caring, and eager to experience life.

CHIP- An enchanted teacup and Mrs. Potts’ darling little boy. He is innocent, playful, and bright-eyed.
Male, 7-10 yrs old
Range: A3 - F5
COGSWORTH- A tightly-wound, enchanted mantle clock and the head of the Beast’s household. He is uptight, strict, and punctual but also hard-working, faithful, and thorough.

ENSEMBLE WOLVES; ENCHANTED OBJECTS; TOWNSPEOPLE
GASTON- The egotistical, ultra-masculine villain determined to marry Belle. He is manipulative yet charming and earnest.

LEFOU- Gaston’s bumbling sidekick. He is loyal, energetic, and optimistic, but not quite the brightest guy.

LUMIERE- A suave, debonair enchanted candelabra. He is a loyal and steadfast servant.

MADAME DE LA GRANDE BOUCHE- A former opera diva-turned-enchanted wardrobe. She has a caring, refined, larger than life personality.

MAURICE- Belle’s loving, eccentric father. A child at heart and inventor in his own world.

MONSIEUR D'ARQUE- The scheming proprietor of the local insane asylum. He is a dark, sinister villain who aides Gaston in his plot to marry Belle.

MRS. POTTS- A warm-hearted, maternal enchanted teapot. She is loyal, caring, and playful.

SISTER ACT BREAKDOWN
CURTIS A - club owner, notorious gangster, and Deloris's boyfriend. Cocky and controlling, always on the verge of violence.

DELORIS VAN CARTIER- An aspiring performer, trying to find both fame and a place in the world. When forced to hide in the convent, she initially refuses to embrace her new lifestyle but learns to embrace it when she works with the choir. Loud-mouthed, and sassy, but ultimately caring.

EDDIE SOUTHER- The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high school classmate of Deloris who helps get her into hiding. Faces a lot of nerves when under pressure, causing him to sweat profusely. He still yearns for Deloris after all these years, and dreams of being her hero.

ENSEMBLE NUNS; BAR DENIZENS (BAR PATRON, WAITRESS, POOL PLAYER, DRAG QUEEN); HOMELESS PEOPLE; FANTASY DANCERS
ERNIE- One of Curtis's thugs. Initially thought to be a mindless yes-man, he turns out to be an undercover police informant.

JOEY- One of Curtis's thugs. Believes himself to be quite the ladies' man.

MICHELLE- One of Deloris's back-up singers. Lippy and always quick with a retort.

MONSIGNOR O'HARA- One of the heads of the convent. Constantly concerned with financial matters, though soul music surprisingly puts him in a different mood.
Male, 45-60 yrs old
Range: E3 - G4
MOTHER SUPERIOR- The head of the convent, sarcastic and a bit stiff. Extremely protective about keeping her sisters away from the outside world, which puts her in direct opposition to Deloris and her musical teachings.

PABLO- One of Curtis's thugs. A natural follower, constantly speaks in Spanish.

SISTER MARY LAZARUS- A nun of the convent and the head of the choir. Rather deadpan and the least welcoming of any of the nuns, but she gets caught up in Deloris's soul music.

SISTER MARY MARTIN-OF-TOURS- A nun of the convent. Clearly in her own world, but has her moments of surprising clarity.
Female, 40-60 yrs old

SISTER MARY PATRICK- A nun of the convent. Consistently perky, enthusiastic, and easily excitable.
Female, 35-50 yrs old

SISTER MARY ROBERT- A postulant, abandoned as a baby and raised at the convent. Shy and soft-spoken, but singing with Deloris lets her find her voice. Her wallflower lifestyle has made her live a shell of a life.

SISTER MARY THERESA- A nun of the convent, the oldest of the group. Decrepit at a glance, but secretly packs a punch.

TINA- One of Deloris's back-up singers. A little thick and naive.

TJ- Curtis's nephew and one of his thugs. Deft and cognizant of the fact, constantly in a state of ignorant bliss.

When You Wish- A new Disney Musical Review-
Brings the best of Disney’s Musicals to the stage featuring music from you favorite Disney classic films and Broadway shows.
Roles will feature many of Disney’s most famous Hero’s and Heroine’s:
Specifically looking for actors to play the roles of Pocahontas, Mulan, Shang and Sebastian.
*Note: WHEN YOU WISH is a project currently being conceived and all casting will come from our 2015 companies of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and SISTER ACT.
ALL roles will be understudied.
