BREAKDOWN
CAST
AUSTIN – Paul Dano
LEE – Ethan Hawke
Seeking:
ONE MALE TO COVER THE FOLLOWING TWO ROLES:
* AUSTIN (CAST – PAUL DANO) – Male, 30s. An Ivy League graduate who works as a screenwriter, currently house sitting for his mother in California.
* LEE (CAST – ETHAN HAWKE) – Male, 30s. Austin’s older estranged brother. A lowlife drifter and a drunken thief.
SAUL KIMMER - late 40’s; an all-talk Hollywood producer who promises to make dreams into reality, yet never does. One assumes that his films aren't of the highest caliber and his ways aren't the most conventional. Slick in appearance, but in a way that leans more towards tacky and ostentatious.
MOM - early 60’s; Mother of Austin and Lee. A warm-hearted woman who on first glance resembles the perfect all American television mom, but on closer look it's obvious that something is terribly amiss.
