Synopsis:
TOMMY & ME is autobiographic and recounts a seminal time in Ray Didinger’s life as he helps his life-long hero, Tommy McDonald reach his goal of getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Roles:
TOMMY MCDONALD [already cast]
Male, 60s. White. Retired pro football player. Must be shorter than 6'.
RAY DIDINGER [already cast]
Male, 40s-early 50s. White. Successful sportswriter.
YOUNG TOMMY [already cast]
Male, early 20s. White. Early career pro football player, blonde, athletic but small (Tommy McDonald was 5'9, 178 lbs.) Must be shorter than 6’.
YOUNG RAY [already cast]
Male, preteen. White. Precocious sports fan – he knows his stuff.

IDEATION

Synopsis:
Ninety minutes from now, a group of stressed-out corporate consultants is slated to present their work on a mysterious project. It's time to brainstorm within the morally ambiguous parameters they've been given so they can make it to their kids' soccer games and continue their ill-advised affairs. But as they work, the question of what they aren't being told looms ever larger, becoming harder to ignore. If something truly monstrous is going on, it wouldn't be happening over Starbucks scones... would it? A ferocious and hilarious thriller.

HANNAH
Female, early 40s. Carries an aura of authority. Has an MBA and is an expert in logistics and finance.
BROCK
Male, late 30s-early 40s. A backslapper. Good-looking, avuncular, a little bit sadistic. Has an MBA and is an expert in organizational structures.
TED
Male, late 40s-early 50s. Road warrior, family man, he’s from Texas with a very faint accent. Civil Engineer and expert in transportation processes.
SANDEEP
Male, late 20s. Indian/South Asian. Grew up near Delhi in a wealthy, highly educated family. He has a lovely English/Indian accent. He projects arrogance and gentleness with equal frequency. Sandeep is a PhD in industrial engineering and an expert in manufacturing processes.
SCOOTER
Male, early 20s. Getting his MBA. He’s in an entry-level position, working for Hannah. Eager, privileged, and a little arrogant.

REALLY

Synopsis:
A black woman takes pictures of her artist boyfriend’s mom. As they jockey for a claim to him, they try to redefine themselves in the wake of his legacy. REALLY is a play about grief, intimacy, and the difference between goodness and greatness seen through the lens of photography.
Roles:
MOTHER
Female, 50s-60s. White. Charming, witty, attractive; someone who can get along with anyone. Wouldn’t consider herself wealthy, but has never worried about money.
GIRLFRIEND
Female, 20s. Black or Brown. Attractive, serious, shy. A first generation-ish or multi-ethnic American. Grew up in a household aspiring to middle class somewhere on the east or west coast. Has become very accustomed to a liberal urban way of life. An artist.
CALVIN
Male, 20s-30s. White. Attractive, exacting, unruffled; incredibly confident, with a boundless sense of his own promise. Lacks pretense and doesn’t value hospitality, compliments, or making other people comfortable. An artist who has never worried about money.

Synopsis:
Jess is tanking in Physics, so her mom hires Lloyd to help her pass. But she’d rather study his son, the survivor of a lightning strike that killed his girlfriend a year ago, and tattooed his body with elegant scars. When Lloyd and Mom hit it off, these two broken families are bound ever closer, inexorably -- with explosive results. An intricate, atmospheric tale of love, sex, and the unseen forces that draw us together and drive us apart.

JESS
Female, 17. Friendly, confident, nosy. Not a great student. She wants to express herself, to make something happen, to make noise.
BLAKE
Male, 18. An introvert. Survived a lightning strike that killed his girlfriend a year ago. He fixes bikes. Trying his best to hide from the world.
CLAIRE
Female, 30s. Damaged by past relationships. She finds comfort in working through her feelings in group sessions. She’s either not at all or completely self-aware.
DORIS [already cast]
Female, 40s. Jess’s mom. A counselor who leads groups. She’s trying to move on from a complicated past, and trying to be a good mom to Jess.
LLOYD [already cast]
Male, 40s. Blake’s dad. Former high school physics teacher. He’s working on his anger and trying to be a good dad to Blake.
