SYNOPSIS: Ron and Joy, a professional couple learn that their biggest screw-up of a friend, Gary, has somehow managed to get a self-help book published by a small press. When the couple attempts to persuade Gary that he should not quit steady employment to pursue dreams of becoming a life coach, they end up uncovering secrets that throw their relationship into chaos.

This is a new day. Shedding a Skin is a story for our times. It's a play about finding kindness in unexpected places; about understanding what our elders can teach us; it's new skin honoring old. It's a play about joy, healing and protest.

Jersey Boys takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to discover the secret of a 40-year friendship as the foursome work their way from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of stardom.

TOMMY DEVITO - 30s to 40s, male-presenting. Strong tenor/baritone voice, must be comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; ability to play guitar a strong plus; funny; a wise-guy; a natural-born leader with appealing bad-boy quality.
FRANKIE VALLI – 20s to mid-30s, male-presenting. 5’9 or shorter; A strong tenor with sweet and strong falsetto and able to sing in the style of Frankie Valli; strong tenor to high A or Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G; charismatic and charming; has a gritty side as well as a polished veneer; very comfortable with four-part harmonies.
NICK MASSI - 30s to 40s, male-presenting. Strong bass/baritone voice, very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; a quiet dreamer who longs for life after The Four Seasons; understated with a dead-pan quality.
BOB GAUDIO - 20s to mid-30s, male-presenting. Strong tenor/baritone voice; very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; an intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy.
JOE PESCI - 20s to mid-30s, male-presenting. 5’9 or shorter; young, energetic and funny; a strong singer. Will double as various roles.
BARRY BELSON - 20s to late-40s, male-presenting. Strong singer, doubles as various roles (friends, producers, etc.); strong tenor to high C; with a strong falsetto to G above high C; Has the ability to riff in rhythm-and-blues style.
BOB CREWE - 30s to 40s, male-presenting. Intelligent and flamboyant; genius music producer and lyricist; an integral part of creating the magic of The Four Seasons.
NORM WAXMAN - 20s to mid-30s, male-presenting. Owns a private money lending agency; strong singer doubles as various roles; strong tenor/bari-tenor voice.
GYP DECARLO - mid-40s to mid-50s, male-presenting. Tough, Mafioso type; a strong singer.
MARY & OTHERS - 20s to late-30s, female-presenting. Frankie’s wife; tough, “Seen it all”, Italian, Jersey girl; she’s got a killer sense of humor; doubles as a variety of other roles including member of a 60’s style girl group; strong belt useful; high straight tone soprano also useful; very good dancer.
LORRAINE & OTHERS - 20s to mid-30s, female-presenting. Frankie’s girlfriend; educated; not from Jersey; a reach career girl; young Diane Sawyer; doubles as a variety of other roles, including member of a 60’s style girl group and tough-as-nails Jersey girl; strong high belt useful, belt to high F extremely useful; high, straight tone soprano also useful; very good dancer.
FRANCINE & OTHERS - 20s to mid-30s, female-presenting. Frankie’s daughter; named for, doted on and deeply loved by Frankie. She’s a Jersey girl—vulnerable, lost and acts out to make up for lack of attention from her dad. Doubles as a variety of other roles including member of a 60’s style girl group and a tough-as-nails Jersey girl. Strong, high belt useful.
