DADDY (Male Identifying, Mid 30s-Early 40s, Black) A hard worker employed at the auto plant. Loves his family and will do anything to keep them safe, even if it means driving 14 hours straight. The disciplinarian in the house.
MAMA (Female Identifying, Mid 30s-Early 40s, Black) A caring and concerned woman. Keeps the family together and is the master of the plan to head south. Detail oriented. Looking for a way to save her oldest child from himself.
GRANDMA SANDS (Female Identifying, 60s, Black) A widow. Strong, vivacious, and effusive woman. She will not suffer fools.
No roles will be understudied.
