Breakdown

SEEKING FUTURE REPLACEMENTS FOR THE BROADWAY COMPANY.

All female dancers must be 5’5” or under, have a degree of innocence about them and look very young (18-25). Seeking experienced, classically trained dancers.

All male dancers must be 6’0” or taller and must be classical/ballet dancers. They should have solid classical technique with a musical theatre flair. They must be well built and muscular.

There is no solo singing for the dancers (except ‘Meg’), but they will have to carry some vocal responsibility in the ensemble numbers.

In addition, there is the principal role of ‘Meg’ who is a member of the Corps de Ballet. She should appear to be between 16 and 18 years old. The range is mezzo-soprano to G. We will also be looking for girls for future replacements for this role at this dance call.

Casting for The Phantom of the Opera is interracial. Dancers of all ethnic backgrounds and races are encouraged to attend.
