Preparation
Please prepare 2 Golden Age of B'way songs: Cole Porter, Gershwin's, et al. Ballad/uptempo - whole song. Bring 2 H/Rs.

Breakdown

42nd Street Moon celebrates its 22nd Season in 2014-15. The company presents intimately produced versions of uncommon musicals, specializing in early to mid-20th Century American Musical Theatre. Since 2008, our shows have been fully staged, with choreography and are performed off-book.

Rehearsals are typically weeknights from 6 - 10 pm and weekends from Noon - 5 or 1 - 6 pm. You may not be called to every rehearsal, but you will need to keep these times available for us. The rehearsal on the Sunday prior to opening runs Noon - 10 p.m.

Regular show schedule: Wednesdays @ 7 pm; Thursday & Fridaynights @ 8 pm; Saturday evenings at 6 pm and Sunday afternoons @ 3 pm. There is one added Family Matinee at 1 pm on the secondSaturday of the run.

THE BOY FRIEND (Book, Music and Lyrics by Sandy Wilson)
A lighter-than-air spoof of 1920s musical comedies, THE BOY FRIEND is one of the most delightful shows of the mid-20th Century. English perfect young ladies frolic on the French Riviera in this delectable farce. Songs include: I Could Be Happy With You, A Room in Bloomsbury, Won't You Charleston With Me?,Safety in Numbers, It's Nicer in Nice.

Available chorus roles - 2f, 3m:
NANCY - f, 18-25, a student at Mme Dubonnet's finishing school.

FAYE - f, 18-25, a student at Mme Dubonnet's finishing school.

ALPHONSE, PIERRE and MARCEL - all m, 20-25, French. The young men pursuing the perfect young ladies.
