Please prepare two contrasting 1-to-2-minute monologues OR if singing, one 1-to-2-minute comedic OR dramatic monologue and a brief cut of a song (bring sheet music). Please bring a headshot with resume attached by staples.

Heidi – Female presenting, presently 40s, White, based on Heide Schreck, a former debate champion who grapples with whether the Constitution should continue to exist. Alternates from adulthood to her 15-year-old self throughout the play.
Mike – Male presenting, 40s, any ethnicity, represents positive male energy, kind and open. Debater - *This role has been cast.

Rafael 20s-30s, Latino male presenting, a romantic employee at Clyde’s looking for purpose in his work and life.
Jason 20s-30s, White Male presenting, fresh out of jail and covered in white supremacist tattoos, trying to make a life outside in his new reality.

MONSIEUR BOUC Male presenting; 40s-60s - A Belgian man of good humor; playful, proud, generous; a predilection for grandeur; a whirlwind of energy; an excellent comedian.
MARY DEBENHAM Female presenting; 30s-40s - An English beauty; a governess, capable yet romantic; a sadness around her eyes and a hardness about her person.
HECTOR MACQUEEN Male presenting; 30s-40s - Tightly wound, edgy and nervous; he seems to always be on the verge of falling apart or coming unwound.
MICHEL THE CONDUCTOR/MARCEL Male presenting; 40s-50s - Michel: a good-looking Frenchman, about 40, a quiet, almost grave sense of humor; unfailingly polite. / Marcel: a Turkish waiter, snooty, smooth; great comic timing.

GRETA OHLSSON Female presenting; 20s-40s - Inherently odd, and very devout Swedish woman; a frightened, sheeplike quality; an excellent comedienne with an impeccable Swedish accent.
COUNTESS ANDRENYI Female presenting; late 20s-30s - Brilliantly beautiful, like something out of a fairytale; impeccably put together, with a warmth that wins over everyone she meets; her delicacy belies a steely edge; she is no wilting flower; Hungarian accent.

Seeking performers with dynamic personalities who connect with an audience, maintain strong vocals of a Pop/Contemporary Musical Theater sound with the ability to tell a story through song, and command the stage. Actors who play their own instruments are encouraged to audition.
