Seeking:

Ensemble Dancers:

Men and women, all ethnicities, to play a variety of physical types within the world of SOUTH PACIFIC. Movement ability, musicality and good physical storytelling is essential, however we are not necessarily looking for dancers. All must sing well. From the ensemble, we will be casting the following:

Henry: Debecq's premiere servant, 45-70. An islander with dark, aboriginal features whose watchful wisdom provides security to the household.

Marcel: Henry's assistant, 35-45. Also an islander; will cover Henry.

Bloody Mary's Assistant: Tonkinese; will cover Bloody Mary.

Liat cover: Female, 15-22, Tonkinese; heartbreakingly delicate, beautiful and the picture of purity.

Nurses: Caucasian women with a variety of looks and body types, 22-35. A well educated, tight knit group. They should embody the openness and generosity of the period.

Sailors, Seabees and Marines: Caucasian and African-American men, 18-late 20's. Seeking young, real looking Marine bodies: skinny is good. Coming from all classes, they are the heart and soul of the musical, serving their country with open and innocent spirits. Idealistic young men committed to this adventure.
