CONTRACT

Showcase-NY $800 Stipend

SEEKING

Actors for seasonal showcase revival of 1958 play. In documentary theater style, Shadow of Heroes follows the intertwined lives of three people from the liberation of Hungary from the Nazis in 1945 to its invasion by the Soviet army in 1956. A story of devoted friends and lovers fighting for their ideals in the face of political opportunism, temptation, and betrayal, the 1958 play is a chilling insight into the fragility of decency and conviction in the face of authoritarian power.
