SILENT SKY - Henrietta, Peter
PREPARATION
2 appropriate short contrasting monologues (can be from the season but not necessary) or one monologue and 16 bars (pianist will be present); no Shakespeare; singing auditions for GHOST will be 12/14. Necessarily looking for performers that can be carried through more than one show.

A TRICK OF THE LIGHT:
Marty - 40's, Eddie's best friend, fairly anxious, works as an actor.
Waitress/Movie Usher/Leslie/Calista - 20's; the Waitress is dorky, but enthusiastic; the Usher is almost comatose; Leslie is Darrell's young co-worker, not very nice; Calista is a therapist, very smart and grounded for her age.
A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED:
Letitia Blacklock - beyond middle age, but still a very attractive woman who has clearly looked after her figure and features.
Julia Simmons - her niece, 25 or 26, sense of humor.
Dora Bunner - slightly older than Letitia, somewhat dotty.
Mitzi - Letitia's cook, about 25 or 26, small and dark. a mid-European, explosive.
Miss Marple - an elderly lady with an over-inquisitive mind.
Mrs. Swettenham - late 50's, nosy.
Edmund Swettenham - her son, 26 or 27, serious, pretensions of being a writer.

Sam Wheat - young, very much in love with Molly.
Molly Jensen - young, ditto with Sam.
Carl Bruner - young, Sam's best friend
Oda Mae Brown - storefront psychic
Subway Ghost/Orlando Jones/Ensemble - male

Margaret Leavitt - 30's, Henrietta's sister, homebody, creative, sweet.
Annie Cannon - 40's. the leader, terse and sure, grows into a firebrand.
Williamina Fleming - 50's,smart as a whip and fun, Scottish.
GEORGE WASHINGTON'S TEETH:
Hester Bunion - president and oldest member of the New Bunion Historical Society, authoritative.
Ann Mather - stylish, attractive, one time trophy wife.
Edie Plotz - middle aged, florist, narcoleptic, eager to please.
Jessica Shindel - college age, real world smart.
Louisa Tye - middle-aged to older, descendant of New Bunion's first black settlers, as intractable as Hester.
