Seeking Company Members for the following roles in the upcoming season: OSCAR In world premiere of Lynn Nottage’s SWEAT. Latino male, early-mid 20s. Puerto Rican or Dominican bus boy turned factory worker. Slow to burn, but passionate and articulate when roused. He is used to being the outsider, but knows when to assert his presence. Second role in rep either a Shakespeare or play set in Victorian England so will need appropriate training. Plus 2 u/s assignments. Contract Dates are 1/7/15-10/31/15 CHRIS In world premiere of Lynn Nottage’s SWEAT. African American male, early-mid 20s. Charming but definitely has air of danger about him-- a bit of thug that surfaces when pushed. Deeply religious, thoughtful and likes to think he’s the smartest guy in the room. Second role in rep is either Shakespeare or play set in Victorian England so will need appropriate training. Plus 2 u/s assignments. Contract Dates are 1/6/15-11/1/15. JASON

Contract Dates: currently 5/28/15-10/31/15, could be as long as 1/7/15-10/31/15. MASTER YUAN Inn US premiere of Stan Lai’s SECRET LOVE IN PEACH BLOSSOM LAND. Asian male, 25-35. Strong, handsome leading man playing a crafty, lustful boss of the loosely-structured touring company of Peach Blossom Land. Must be adept at physical comedy/farce. Needs to be athletic with strong movement skills--commedia, acrobatic, dance skills a plus. Second role in rep is Shakespeare so must have solid Shakespeare training. Plus 2 u/s assignments. Contract Dates are 3/3/15-10/31/15 THE DIRECTOR In US premiere of Stan Lai’s SECRET LOVE IN PEACH BLOSSOM LAND. Asian male, 50s-70s. the often-exasperated Taiwanese director of the autobiographical romance Secret Love set in 1948 China and 1986 Taiwan. Still sharp of mind and body. Obsessed with the characters in his play but does not seem to be a particularly capable director. Second role in rep is Shakespeare so must have solid Shakespeare training. Plus u/s assignments.
