GUY
Male. Baritone. Character is late-20s to late-30s. A struggling Irish musician. Lost and a bit sad, but extremely appealing. Brooding. Works with his Da in a vacuum repair shop. MUST SING AND PLAY GUITAR EXTREMELY WELL. Must have a strong Irish accent. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.
GIRL
Female. Character is early- 20s to mid-30s. Direct, intelligent, no nonsense and witty. Should have something ‘other’ about her. Has had to work hard at life but doesn't think she deserves any sympathy. MUST SING AND PLAY PIANO EXTREMELY WELL. Must have a strong Czech (Eastern European) accent. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.
BARUSKA
Female. Alto. Character is 50-70 years old. Czech. Girls' mother. She believes a full stomach and a full heart will cure anything. Wants the best for her daughter. A formidable woman. MUST BE A MUSICIAN WITH PROFICIENCY ON ACCORDION OR VIOLIN. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.
REZA
Female. Character is mid-20s to mid/late-30s. A sexy, funny, smart Czech girl. Often a bit larger then life. MUST SING AND PLAY VIOLIN/FIDDLE EXTREMELY WELL. Must have a strong Czech (Eastern European) accent. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.
