Eliza Doolittle — a Cockney flower girl from Lisson Grove selling flowers outside Covent Garden. 20’s. Fiery, stubborn, whip smart. Wants to be a lady in a flower shop Soprano

Colonel Pickering — retired British officer with colonial experience; the author of “Spoken Sanskrit”. 60’s Baritone.

Henry Higgins — Upper class, world famous phonetics expert. A confirmed bachelor. 40’s-50’s. Prickly, analytical. Baritone

Freddy Eynsford-Hill — Late 20’s, early 30’s. Upper class. Pampered. Completely smitten with Eliza Baritone/Ten

Alfred P. Doolittle — Eliza’s father; 40’s -50’s. Brash dustman with his own peculiar philosophy of life. Baritone

Mrs. Higgins — Henry’s mother. 60’s-70’s. Patrician. Battles with her son, becomes Eliza’s protector.

Mrs. Pearce — Henry Higgins’ housekeeper. Runs the household. Well aware of the confines of British Society and its rules and regulation Alto/Mezzo
