KATHERINE GERARD [CAST]: (Female – 60-69) A widow who lost her son, Andre, to AIDS 25 years ago; her emotional repression and disapproval of her son’s homosexuality have kept her from coming to terms with his death. This role has already been cast; actors may audition for possible replacement.

CAL PORTER: (Male – 35-49) A successful hedge fund manager who was Andre’s partner at the time of Andre’s death; a candid, straightforward survivor of the AIDS epidemic who now leads a meaningful and rewarding life.

WILL OGDEN: (Male – 35-49) Cal’s husband, a writer; has an easy charm and sense of humor.

BUD OGDEN-GERARD: (Male child – 6, going on 7) Cal and Will’s son. Openly inquisitive and chatty with a big heart.
