Preparation
Please prepare one monologue up to three minutes long or two contrasting monologues equaling three minutes. There are no musicals; no music, please.

Please bring ONE copy of your headshot and resume, stapled together.

Other Dates
A 2nd EPA for the remaining 2 shows in the season will be held after the remaining shows have been announced. That date has still not been determined.

Septimus Hodge
(male, age 22, later 25): Thomasina's tutor; clever, dashing, a bit rakish

Jellaby
(male, middle aged): a butler, self-contained, dignified

Ezra Chater
(male, age 31): poet, a foolish cuckold

Richard Noakes
(male, middle aged): a landscape architect, intimidated by the aristocracy

Lady Croom
(female, mid-30s): aristocrat, haughty

Capt Brice
(male, middle aged): brusque, strapping, full of bluster

Hannah Jarvis
(female, late 30s): an author, smart, no-nonsense, competing in a man's world

Father Brendan Flynn
(male, 30s): a priest; articulate and personable. CAST. Actors will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary.

Sister James
(female, 20s): a young nun; an enthusiastic but inexperienced teacher; seeks the best in those around her

Mrs. Muller
(female, 30s-40s): the mother of Donald, a boy at the school; she is circumspect and private
