CLASSICALLY TRAINED actors OF ALL ETHNICITIES with SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE in the performance of
Shakespeare for our outdoor summer repertory season to include King Lear and The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Actors will be cast in both shows. Experience with stage combat, movement/dance, and singing a plus. We are seeking to assemble a diverse company with some cross-gender casting. Actors of ALL ETHNICITIES are STRONGLY encouraged to audition.
Prepare two contrasting Shakespeare monologues, or one Shakespeare monologue, total time not to exceed 3 minutes. Video submissions are also accepted at https://www.kingsmenshakespeare.org/festival/auditions.html.

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the
extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and
dressing rooms.
Holding/Audition room information:
The audition room can accommodate no more than 50 individuals at a time.
The holding room can accommodate no more than 60 individuals at a time.
All roles will be understudied.
