We encourage actors of all races, ethnicities, genders and abilities to audition.
12 actors to bring a modern take on Shakespeare's JULIUS CAESAR to life. This will be an ultra-modern take on the script. Come ready to play.
Please prepare a 1-2 minute Shakespeare monologue Also, bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

CAESAR--strong, muscular, handsome/ambitious, think Paul Ryan or Justin Trudeau BRUTUS--soulful, level-headed, caring for the populace even to a fault
CASSIUS--self-serving operator, just as ambitious as Caesar but not blessed with the same movie star looks
MARK ANTONY--young and powerful but irresponsible, called to action by the death of his hero TREBONIUS--strong, bold, leader of soldiers
CASCA--funny, quippy, belying a strong sense of self-preservation
CINNA/Citizen1/Soldier 1--swaggering, slightly dangerous
LUCIUS/Citizen 2--young and out of his depth, kind-hearted and loving even though it all DECIUS BRUTUS/Citizen 3/Soldier 2--gung-ho, ready to roll, will do what needs to be done PORTIA/CINNA THE POET/CLITUS/Servant--soulful, sad, doomed
CALPURNIA/PINDARUS/Messenger/Citizen 4--stronger than her politicians wife allows her to show
SOOTHSAYER/POPILIUS/OCTAVIUS--similar in look to Caesar, just as ambitious and dangerous as his father
