Seeking
Seeking multiples roles for our 2016 season. Performers of all racial and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Preparation
You will have 3.5 minutes to perform 2 contrasting pieces of your choosing. One of your pieces can be a song if you'd like. An Accompanist will be provided.

ROOM SERVICE by John Murray
Sasha Smirnoff: Mild mannered middle-aged Russian with a great deal of old world charm and slight accent
Gordon Miller: Very energetic, about 32, with a keen intelligent face
Joseph Gribble: Hotel manager and a conventional member of the middle class
Harry Binion: The director, a sluggish, sour looking man in his early 30’s.
Faker Englund: He is a boy of 45 with a rough earthy quality and a boundless energy ever at Miller’s disposal
Christine Marlowe: She is a pretty 24 year old. She looks like she attended Vassar, although she has never been there.
Leo Davis: The playwright. A Naïve young man of 23 with a clean cut honest face.
Hilda Manney: A sweet simple girl in her early 20’s with the soul of a secretary, works at the hotel
Gregory Wagner: A large, officious, blustering man of 50 who can’t get over being an executive
Simon Jenkins: The backer, a dignified, impressive looking man of 55
Dr. Glass: A small wiry individual of about 55 with a nervous temperament
Bank Messenger: A uniformed bank messenger
Senator Blake: A dignified, authoritative windbag of 65 with a southern accent

EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN by Katie Forget
Abigail Caldwell: Journalist who specializes in stories that require a certain amount of undercover work. First impressions would indicate that she is bright, articulate and resourceful. A greater knowledge of her would reveal that she is vulnerable and particularly fragile regarding family issues. Early 40’s.
Jane: Stay-at-home mom and wife. Found Christ after the death of her younger brother. Naturally charming to the extent that non-believers are often quite taken with her. One year younger than Abigail.
Jack Caldwell: Retired English professor with a subtle courtly demeanor. Recent health problems are causing a temporary cognitive decline. May occasionally experience a momentary freefall of spirit as only a parent who has lost a child can. 70-80 years old.
Daniel MacNeill: Recovering alcoholic. A clinical psychologist for most of his adult life. Derailed by the death of his child 18 months ago. Mid-30’s to early 40’s. Dynamic and charismatic.
